PyrateCon 2011 is in Jeopardy
Pyrate Con is in need of sponsorship help –serious help- if our 2011 event is to take place. The struggling economy has taken its toll everywhere, and Pyrate Con is no exception.
Pyrate Con is a growing entity and has become more popular and widely known world wide each year. The French Quarter has experienced three years of PyrateCon, and its merchants and businesses have prospered greatly when the Pyrates come to town. The Travel Channel covered our 2009 event, and it will soon air world-wide for everyone to see the potential for continued growth that Pyrate Con has to offer.
Pyrate Con will be featured as “The Wildest Convention” September 23, 2009 at 8 pm EST on the Travel Channel as part of “The Wildest” video documentary series. Soon the world will know exactly what excitement, opportunity, and prosperity Pyrate Con brings to New Orleans and to the merchants and businesses our attendees patronize during this event. But, our event is growing too large for internal funding to keep it moving forward for 2011.
Pyrate Con 2011 is in dire need of major sponsors for our coming event. Sadly, without outside contributions and major sponsors, this event will not continue as planned for 2011.
Pyrate Con 2011 needs help now if planning is to continue. We are in need of businesses, merchants and investors to step forward and join in partnership with Pyrate Con to keep our event moving and growing into the future. The word is already spread for our 2011 event, advertising and promotion is ongoing, and pirates world wide are already planning on attending our April 16-18th scheduled convention. Don’t let this year’s Pyrate Con fall to the way side for 2011.
